Today was a wild and crazy day (to quote Steve Martin)
First everything about the news was funny, for some reason. We learned for instance that Jon BonJovi admitted to James Lipton on “Inside the Actors Studio” that he had taken steroids. Sounded like a good reason to haul out “Ban Jovi” !
Tim and Willy were very excited to learn that Sarah Palin is coming to Tempe to sign her book .
And we also learned about a huge Hollywood project to act out the Bible. It’s finished and now available with some really big stars portraying all your favorite Bible characters. But Willy came up with our Zinger of the Day!
A listener called to let us know about a holiday project her company is doing and recruit some help from KMLE fans! Heidi works at Carpen-Perhazle-Wood and they are doing a huge canned food drive very soon. It consists of having teams try to “build” things out of the cans of food they collect. They’re office is at 1400 E. Southern in Tempe…they have about 20 teams lined up to participate and are looking for 10 more. Interested?
