The George Strait song of the Day today was a little out there as the “band” played it for you.  It was Adelaida and everyone got in on it today…Willy on Trumpet, an instrument he doesn’t really play regularly…Tim on Guitar, Andrea on the bongos and Becky Lynn on the bells.  See if you can recognize it…someone did!

Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier gave us a call this morning to fill us in on some of the backstage happenings during and after last night’s Grammy Awards show.  He’s a big Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood fan.

 Did you see Pink’s eye-popping Grammy outfit last night?  She is wearing a nude bodysuit under the “strings”.  But still…oh my!!

and how about Lady Gaga’s red carpet gown…out of this world…

Taylor Swift looked cute..and made history by winning 4 trophies, including the one for Album of the Year!

However, Taylor did hit a clunker last night…a pretty obvious one when she dueted with Stevie Nicks.  If you missed it, here it is…

Again today, Tim and Willy brought you the George Strait song of the day for George and Reba tickets.  Willy attempted to play the song for you to see if you could guess it.  Usually, they do that on their guitars, but today, Willy chose a different instrument!

Nelson chatted with us early from Australia.  Tim is trying to learn to “speak Australian” and Nelson assured him he’s doing fine, learning all the new phrases with his handy dandy Aussie I-Phone App.

Lots of great stuff coming up this week on Tim and Willy, like Lady Antebellum (Wednesday Morning), an author who will fill us in on all sorts of secrets about the show “Lost” (Wednesday morning).  And on Friday, Sinbad!

Comedian Mike Birbiglia who’ll be at the Tempe Improv through Saturday night was in studio with us this morning…he’s a fav!  Listen to a little of Mike on air with us, talking about some of his early jobs.

And not only that, but Larry the Cable Guy gave us a call.  He has a special on Comedy Central this Sunday Night and he talked about that as well as his new band…check it out!

The Movieman checked in with his reviews of this weekend’s big movies…Edge of Darkness and When in Rome.    Tim took him up on his offer to call in and leave his own 6 second review of a movie…not too shabby!!

Wally had some exciting news about NASCAR and the NHRA!  A couple of special people are coming to town!

Love and Theft…we love these guys.  They called us this morning to talk about their upcoming trip to Phoenix with Tim McGraw and Lady A.  Plus, a lucky listener could win a cheezy block party with Love and Theft. 

Willy is predicting a victory for the Saints in the SuperBowl.  He says you can take it to the bank because the team that wears dark jerseys as the home team always loses.  Nadine called to challenge him on that one!
